- Install uv (dependency management and execution).
- Python must be ≥ 3.12;
uvhandles the virtual environment automatically. - Linting uses
ruff(installed as a development dependency byuv sync).
- Install JDK 21 and Maven 3.9+.
- Maven manages dependencies automatically and downloads them on the first build.
- Formatting checks use
mvn spotless:check.
Install the Scaffold
Section titled “Install the Scaffold”-
Install dependencies
终端窗口 npm install -
Compile TypeScript
终端窗口 npm run buildOutput goes to
dist/. You can also usenpm run devto skip compilation and run the source directly withtsx. -
Verify the installation
终端窗口 node dist/index.jsAn interactive prompt appearing means the installation succeeded.
Dependencies of the Generated Project
Section titled “Dependencies of the Generated Project”After the scaffold finishes, the generated project needs its own toolchain:
- Frontend: install dependencies with npm (the template includes
package-lock.json). - Python backend: install dependencies with
uv sync;pyproject.tomldefines them. - Java backend: build with Maven;
pom.xmldefines the dependencies.
The install subcommand of dev.sh installs the frontend and Python backend dependencies for you. See Development and Build Scripts.
